Religious Education

We offer Religious Education opportunities to all ages, infants through adults. These programs are particularly important in our denomination because our main theology is one of process rather than creed.

Our philosophy is that every child should feel secure, valued, loved and accepted. Children are free to ask questions and develop their own religious philosophies. Religious Education encourages and validates the lifelong process of growth toward wholeness. We learn about self, community, and Unitarian aspects of many religious traditions, plus liberal and humanist traditions. We engage in creative, reflective and communicative activities, bringing us to a greater appreciation of ourselves and that web of life which connects us.

We provide ample opportunity for parents to be involved with the weekly Religious Education programs.

We focus on tolerance and kindness through activities that encourage acceptance. We embrace the value and uniqueness of others by encouraging students to spend time together exploring spirituality.
