Personalized Puzzles
Although the RVUUF 2007 Auction has passed, I am still willing to create a custom crossword in exchange for your $40 donation to RVUUF. You can specify content, size, clues and/or format -- or leave a lot of that up to me. A perfect gift for that crossword lover in your life.
How the process works:
- you can specify a puzzle size. 15x15 is typical, but I can generate larger puzzles
- you can provide me with a list of 15-25 words, names or phrases that you'd like included in the puzzle (with the most "important" ones earlier in list -- so, if not all words fit, I can omit later words, or make the puzzle bigger); alternatively, suggest just a theme and I'll come up with the words
- you can provide clues to go with the words, or I'll create clues, which you can review/edit before the puzzle is finished; let me know whether clues should be easy or tricky
- you can choose a "skeletal" puzzle -- that has only the specified/theme words; or I can add other words to make it more "filled" -- more like a newspaper crossword, though not as symmetric.
- you review drafts (usually PDF via email) of the puzzle and solution; I make revisions.
- you receive final print versions via email or hardcopy; you can also receive files for an online version suitable for a website
