Our Purpose and Mission
Purpose: With open minds and caring hearts we freely gather to support each other in the practice and promotion of liberal religion.
Mission: We, the members of the congregation, therefore, commit ourselves to:
- Provide a community of love, honoring religious diversity and freedom, and encouraging personal and spiritual growth through worship, social action, fellowship, humor, outreach and education;
- Inspire and assist the larger community toward greater compassion, justice, and beauty;
- Participate in the community of the Unitarian Universalist Association and support its prophetic vision of peace, social justice, and religious tolerance;
- Contribute toward the goal of a global community living with respect for the interdependent web of all existence.
