Responsible for the procurement, management, and safeguarding of the assets of the Fellowship and to forecast future needs for assets.
Duties:
- Prepare a Statement of Need for the General Fund. The statement will be presented to the Board before the canvass, usually at the September Board meeting.
- Prepare a proposed budget after the Stewardship Drive, to be presented to the Board. The Board adjusts the proposed budget and presents it to the RVUUF Membership at the annual December Business Meeting.
- Monitor the expenditure rate from the General Fund.
- Assure that the financial assets are audited at least every five years. More frequent audits may be requested if necessary.
- Analyze the financial requirements of the Fellowship both in relation to current and to future needs.
- Oversee investments of the Fellowship excluding Endowment Trust Funds.
- Encourage and track bequests and special gifts and provide for a proper response to donations.
