The Program Council has invited Marc Adams (meetmarcadams.com; heartstrong.org), author of The Preacher’s Son, to speak at RVUUF. He is a gay activist, and will talk about his personal stories. His focus is on Faith-based Anti-GLBT Bullying at Religious Educational Institutions, although he also speaks more generally about his experiences. He was raised in a fundamentalist Baptist family and is now a UU. He has been well received around the U.S. and has written many books about his life and experiences. A donation of $5 will be gladly accepted, but is not necessary. Details: Flyer
