Molly Sullivan of Nature Conservancy is organizing a work party at Whetstone Savanna to remove curly dock -- it's a weed that's easiest to remove while the ground is still soft and damp in the spring.

Meet at 8:30 AM at RVUUF to carpool, or meet us at Whetstone at 9:00 AM. The focus is on curly dock, but Molly may have other work for some of us, too. Wear boots or other waterproof footwear, layered clothing, gloves, and have rain gear with you. Any tools helpful for digging around a plant the size of a dandelion would be helpful, from trowels, to diggers, to shovels. TNC will probably have extra tools, too.
